GLAUCOMA CARE

Glaucoma diagnosis by Applanation TONOMETERY, Pachymetery, Gonioscopy, visual fields (HVF) , OCT treatment by YAG LASER and glaucoma surgeries of all kinds like trabeculectomy, shunts and valves.

Glaucoma is disorder with raised intraocular pressure with optic nerve changes and corresponding field changes. we are fully equipped to deal with glaucoma evaluation by various machines like applanation tonometery, gonioscopy, Humphrey visual field analyzer (HVF) and OCT. We offer various modalities of glaucoma management by laser, drugs and surgeries like trabeculectomy & glaucoma valve and shunts. DR. VINITA RAMNANI is specially trained in glaucoma diagnosis and management from L.V.P. Eye Institute Hyderabad in 2006 and practicing glaucoma with love care and passions since then. Glaucoma is considered as silent thief of sight, it does not have any symptoms and patient can have permanent loss of vision. Therefore patients after 40 years, myopic, diabetic, on steroids or underwent retinal or ocular surgery, patients with family history of glaucoma and history of trauma. All needs regular annual eye examination to check for glaucoma.
