Children usually don’t complaint of their eye problems. By routine eye check up we can detect and correct many eye problems in children in time & timely detection and treatment of eye problems in early age will prevent major loss of vision in children in future. Refractive error in children is commonest eye problem, especially if parents or grandparents are using glasses(kids may need glasses, due to hereditary). There can be problem in one eye and other eye can work normally, such cases can be detected on routine examination or may present with squint or headache and can be detected and treated in time. If timely treatment is not given child may have Amblyopia or lazy eye which can lead to permanent loss of vision . Treatment of all peadiatric eye problems are available like Refractive errors, squint or cataract or any other peadiatric eye diseases with team of paediatrician and good anaesthetic.
