With the change in dietary habits and sedentary life style, the incidence of diabetic patients is increasing now days. 50 % of diabetic patients will have diabetic retinopathy down the line, therefore the screening of eyes for diabetic retinopathy is must. we are fully equipped with all recent automated machines like fundus Fluorescein angiography, OCT, sonography and retinal laser facilities to take care of patients having diabetic retinopathy and other vitreoretinal disorders. India is called capital of diabetes with gradually increasing numbers of diabetic patients. Incidence of Diabetic retinopathy increases with uncontrolled sugars & increasing years of diabetes along with other associated diseases like hypertension, raised cholesterol, thyroid , kidney and cardiac problem. There are no visual symptoms in the beginning of diabetic retinopathy, being progressive disorder which causes permanent visual loss, by the time patient’s complaints of vision loss it will be too late, therefore regular routine check-up is needed.
